Oral drug delivery is classified as one of the preferred systems for administering pharmaceutical agents due to its several advantages, including patient convenience, high compliance, and a non-invasive nature. The area of oral drug delivery systems is to ensure safe and real drug delivery to target sites within the body. However, it encounters problems such as little drug solubility, poor bioavailability, and rapid drug metabolism that requires ongoing advancements in technology. The present study aims to prepare fast oral dissolving films of Pregabalin HCl to achieve its faster therapeutic action. Different batches of films were prepared using various concentration of polymers by solvent casting method. Prepared films were evaluated on basis of thickness, folding endurance, disintegration etc. The best formulation was optimized by assessing drug release profile.
