Title

Parental and Community Involvement in Education: Insight from NEP-2020

Abstract

Abstract: Education is very needful thing in the student’s life. In this relevant the roles of parents and community are very significant. Because parents fulfill the diverse needs of the child. Parental involvement is the active process of participating of the parents in the education of the child. Community involvement is a concept of attempting to bring together different people for solving the problems and decision making. The aim of paper is to explore the importance of parents and community in the field child’s education from the insight of NEP-2020. The study adopts a systematic literature review methodology to analyze the existing study on parental and community involvement in education: insight from NEP-2020. In conclusion, it can say that children whose parents are involved in their child’s education, they are more likely to exhibit a positive attitude towards the school, high level in school attendance. Parental engagement improves a sense of involvement and belonging within the school community that fosters the children to involve in their education actively. When parents are involved in their child’s education, they determine high standards and expectations for academic development that can motivate the child to struggle for success.
