This study examines how research researchers at Periyar University in Salem access knowledge, with a particular emphasis on how they use academic tools and digital resources. The study looks into how much academic support academics receive from online resources such as databases, libraries, and platforms. Data was collected using a survey-based methodology in order to examine the frequency, preferences, and difficulties that research researchers have while attempting to obtain academic literature online. The results emphasize how digital technology can improve research efficiency and how academic institutions can support an environment that encourages digital scholarship. In higher education environments, suggestions are made to support the changing demands of research researchers and maximize the use of digital resources.
