Title

Augmented reality based fire alarming and visualization system for fire brigade

Abstract

This project proposes an advanced solution to improve firefighting operations through an augmented reality-based fire alerting and visualization system. The system integrates Internet of Things (IoT) fire sensors, artificial intelligence (AI), and augmented reality (AR) technologies to enhance the efficiency and safety of fire response efforts. IoT sensors are strategically deployed within buildings to detect fire incidents, transmitting real-time alerts directly to fire brigade vehicles to facilitate prompt emergency responses. The AI component processes sensor data to assess the fire’s severity, delivering critical insights that support informed, data-driven decisions during firefighting operations. Additionally, the AR application—built with Unity and Vuforia—provides a 3D visualization of the building layout, enabling firefighters to evaluate conditions and plan their approach more effectively. By integrating these advanced technologies, the system significantly enhances situational awareness, reduces response times, and ultimately bolsters the safety of both firefighters and the public. This project illustrates the potential of smart technologies to revolutionize conventional firefighting methods, presenting a scalable and forward-looking solution for modern emergency management.
