Abstract
The advent of digital infrastructure has transformed how individuals, businesses, and governments operate, providing unprecedented connectivity and efficiency. However, this interconnected landscape introduces a slew of cyber security threats and vulnerabilities that can jeopardise sensitive data, disrupt services, and cause significant financial and reputational harm. This abstract investigates the multifaceted nature of these threats and vulnerabilities in digital infrastructure, emphasising the importance of taking proactive measures to effectively mitigate risks. It examines various types of cyber threats, such as malware, phishing attacks, ransomware, and insider threats, and emphasises their potential impact on critical infrastructure systems.
