Title

SYNTHESIS AND CHARACTERIZATION OF CuTiO 3 via SOL-GEL METHOD: A COMPREHENSIVE STUDY

Abstract

In the fast-evolving tech field, materials with specialized electrical and optical characteristics are essential for developing advanced sensors. Copper titanate (CuTiO₃), known for its multifunctional capabilities, has become a focal point of interest. This study investigates CuTiO₃, synthesized via sol-gel synthesis, to assess its potential in sensor applications. Structural and optical analyses confirmed its crystalline perovskite structure (XRD) and key light absorption properties (UV-Visible spectroscopy). FTIR spectroscopy identified structural bonds, while dielectric properties, measured across various temperatures, highlighted its temperature-sensitive behavior from LCR meter With both semiconducting and ferroelectric traits, CuTiO₃ shows significant promise as a temperature sensor, responding dynamically to environmental changes. Its versatility suggests applications in industrial monitoring, environmental control, and high-tech electronics, establishing CuTiO₃ as a valuable candidate for next-generation sensor technologies.
