Ayurveda is a life-encompassing, comprehensive science of living. Ayurveda is based on ancient ideas. The science of Ayurveda is the result of human curiosity since every fact that our ancient Acharyas mentioned necessitates careful investigation and study. Disease prevention and health maintenance are highly valued in Ayurveda. This objective can be achieved by following certain Ayurvedic practices. For the healthy offspring, our Acharyas explain the concepts of Garbhini Pricharya, Masanumasik Vridhi Krama and Garbha Poshan along with their practical aspects. Ayurveda's description of embryology is based on the Garbha Sharir, which clarifies a number of concepts from Garbha Uttpati to Garbha Nishkraman. Garbha is dependent on its mother for sustenance. IUGR, IUD and other fetal abnormalities are caused by malnutrition. The Upswedan and Upsnehan of Ahara Rasa by Nabhinadi, which is connected to the mother's body, causes Garbha Poshan in Ayurveda prior to Apara Nirmana.1 To give the current world relevant knowledge, many of the quotes about Garbha Poshan that can be found in Brihatrayi's commentaries must be properly translated. This study aims to clarify and contrast the ancient and contemporary concepts of Garbha Poshan.
