Abstract: A sequence in which each number is the sum of the previous two numbers is called the Fibonacci sequence. Mathematicians, scientists and artists have been interested in the Fibonacci sequence for centuries. This paper explores the origin of the Fibonacci sequence, its mathematical properties, applications in various fields, and its cultural and symbolic significance. The Fibonacci sequence is not just a subject of mathematics, it is a fundamental pattern found in nature, finance, computer science and art. Researching the Fibonacci sequence is a fascinating and interesting task. It helps to reveal mathematical principles as well as the internal structure of natural systems.
