Abstract
Cloud computing has emerged as a transformative technology, changing how organizations and individuals use, store and manage data. This research paper explores the key components, benefits and challenges of cloud computing, emphasizing its role in the evolving landscape of information technology. Cloud computing offers on-demand access to shared computing resources to increase flexibility, scalability, and cost efficiency, including servers, storage, applications, and services. The paper discusses cloud service models—infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), and software as a service (SaaS)—and deployment models, such as public, private, hybrid, and multi- Cloud environment.
The advantages of cloud computing include lower costs on infrastructure, better collaboration, and greater accessibility to data. But there are also challenges such as security, privacy, and compliance concerns. The study also examines advances in cloud security and data management technologies to address these issues.
The paper shows the impact of cloud computing on artificial intelligence, big data analytics, and the Internet of Things (IoT). This research identifies future trends and directions in cloud computing, concluding by emphasizing the importance of innovation and strategic adaptation to harness its full potential while ensuring security and stability.
