In this study, rats with sodium oxalate-induced urolithiasis are evaluated for the antiurolithiatic effects of an ethanolic extract of Bauhinia acuminata L. leaves. Analyses of urine, serum, and kidney tissue were used to assess the effects of extracts that were given at doses of 500 mg/kg and 1000 mg/kg for seven days. According to the results, the larger dose considerably raised protective markers like magnesium, SOD, and catalase while lowering urolithiatic markers like calcium, uric acid, and creatinine, Total protein levels. Additionally, histopathology showed less kidney injury. Research supports traditional applications by indicating that Bauhinia acuminata may be a promising herbal therapy for kidney stone prevention.
