Title

An Assessment of fresh water fish diversity of chembarambakkam lake , Tamil Nadu

Abstract

This study focuses on freshwater fish conservation status. It was conducted during December 2022 – November 2023 contains 23 species distributed under 19 genera, 14 families, 7 orders and 1 class. Most of the species belong to Order Cypriniforms 40%. This study helps in better understanding the fresh water lake for intensive fish culture.
