This paper presents a blockchain-based voting system designed to enhance security, transparency, and trust in the electoral process [1], [2]. Traditional voting systems often face challenges such as voter fraud, data manipulation, and lack of transparency. By utilizing blockchain technology, this system ensures that votes are securely recorded on an immutable ledger, making it resistant to tampering and providing real-time, verifiable records [6]. The system was developed using Ganache for a local blockchain environment and Truffle for smart contract deployment, allowing a decentralized approach to vote casting and tallying [2], [5]. Preliminary tests demonstrate the effectiveness of blockchain in securing voter data and maintaining election integrity, indicating its potential to revolutionize voting processes across various domains. Future work includes optimizing scalability, enhancing user accessibility, and addressing privacy concerns to enable broader adoption in real-world elections.
