Cassia tora, a plant belonging to the legume family, has been recognized for its diverse medicinal properties, including its potential use in veterinary medicine. Traditionally utilized in various cultures for its anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant effects, this plant has shown promise in addressing several veterinary health concerns. Recent studies have explored its therapeutic potential in managing conditions such as gastrointestinal disorders, skin diseases, and infections in livestock and companion animals. The bioactive compounds found in Cassia tora, particularly anthraquinones, flavonoids, and glycosides, are believed to play a key role in its pharmacological activities. Furthermore, its adaptogenic and immunomodulatory effects have raised interest in its role in enhancing the overall health and disease resistance in animals. This review aims to synthesize current findings on the pharmacological actions of Cassia tora, its therapeutic applications, and the need for further research to better understand its efficacy and safety in veterinary medicine. By integrating traditional knowledge with modern scientific approaches, Cassia tora holds the potential to become a valuable natural alternative or adjunct in veterinary therapeutics
