Title

Fake Product Identification Using BlockChain

Abstract

The proliferation of counterfeit products presents a growing challenge for industries, consumers, and the global market. Current anti-counterfeiting methods, such as holograms and serial numbers, are often vulnerable to duplication and manipulation, leaving gaps in product verification processes. This paper proposes a blockchain-based solution that leverages the security and transparency of decentralized technology to address these issues. Using Ethereum smart contracts, the system provides a tamper-resistant way to register and trace products across the supply chain, from manufacturers to consumers. Development tools like Truffle, Ganache, and MetaMask are employed to build and interact with the system, ensuring that each product’s data is securely stored and easily verifiable in real-time. The solution aims to empower consumers to authenticate products instantly, thereby enhancing trust, safeguarding brand reputations, and minimizing the economic impact of counterfeit goods. Additionally, the paper outlines the system’s architecture, development process, and potential for widespread industry adoption, demonstrating how blockchain can revolutionize product tracking and prevent the infiltration of fake goods into the marketplace..
