This survey explores AI-based methods for creating recipes and estimating calories from food pictures. Conventional techniques face challenges in identifying ingredients, cuisines, and calculating calories. AI models like Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and object detection algorithms tackle these obstacles by examining food pictures to create recipes and approximate calorie amounts instantly. Possible applications include dietary organization and wellness tracking, but obstacles such as unclear visuals and varied serving size estimations present room for enhancement.
