Title

Simplified Fractional Fourier Transform of Some Signals

Abstract

The Fractional Fourier Transform is a generalization of the Fourier Transform, capable of representing signals in an intermediate domain between time and frequency. This study explores the simplified implementation of the simplified fractional Fourier transform for various signals, including periodic, transient, and aperiodic signals, with the goal of reducing computational complexity while maintaining accuracy. By leveraging efficient algorithms and approximations, the simplified fractional Fourier transform offers a faster alternative for analyzing signals in fractional domains. The performance of the simplified fractional Fourier transform is compared to traditional Fourier Transform techniques, demonstrating its potential for signal processing applications, such as communication systems, image processing, and time-frequency analysis. Results show that the simplified fractional Fourier transform not only reduces computational load but also provides valuable insights into the time-frequency characteristics of the signals. The work emphasizes the practical benefits of the simplified approach, particularly for real-time signal analysis in resource-constrained environments
