This study investigates the prevalence of hypertension across various age groups in Rangeilunda block of Ganjam district, Odisha. For this study 120 respondents suffering from hypertension from various age groups were selected. The findings reveals that a progressive increase in hypertension incidence with advancing age, highlighting a notably higher prevalence in the 60 and above age group compared to younger cohorts. The analysis underscores the critical need for age-specific prevention and management strategies to mitigate the growing burden of hypertension. Ultimately, this study aims to contribute to the broader goal of reducing the global burden of hypertension and improving cardiovascular health outcomes.
