Mosquito repellents play a critical role in mitigating the transmission of vector-borne diseases such as malaria, dengue, and Zika virus. However, the diverse formulations, active ingredients, and application methods necessitate a standardized approach to ensure efficacy, safety and quality. This study presents a comprehensive framework for the standardization of mosquito repellents, emphasizing guidelines for formulation, testing and regulatory compliance.
