The aim of the present work is to formulate and evaluate herbal hair oil and herbal hair dye. Herbs and herbal medications have been shown in studies to promote hair growth. Comparing herbal hair oils to synthetic drugs, which can have adverse effects like burning, itching and localized irritation, has drawn attention to these alternatives. There are several synthetic medications available for hair loss, but they have serious adverse effects and don't provide permanent relief. Graying of the Hair is the natural phenomenon which attributes to the ageing and frquent use of shampoos which has leads to use of synthetic dyes with the increase of hazardous chemicals in the process of manufacturing. Hair dye is one of the oldest, well- known cosmetics that have been used by many ancient cultures for not only women but also men. Herbal hair dye is preferred due to their advantages in contrast to synthetic one which has adverse effect on human health because of harsh chemicals. Herbal hair oils are prepared by using Haritaki, Avarampooo, Clove,Datura, Ginger, Rose, Bringaraj,Saseme oil,coconut oil,castor oil. Herbal hair dye is prepared by using Coffee powder, tea powder, Bringaraj,Beet root powder, henna powder, Pumpkin seeds.
