This project proposes an IoT-driven intelligent helmet system designed to enhance security in mining operations by ensuring continuous observation and data handling. The headgear integrates detectors to measure heat, moisture, harmful gases, and recognize collisions or helmet detachment. Readings are transmitted wirelessly to a monitoring hub via ZigBee, enabling immediate notifications for possible risks. The platform’s interface supports effortless tracking and rapid responses to hazardous scenarios, helping mitigate dangers. Utilizing IoT technology and sensor fusion, this innovation addresses significant mining risks such as toxic exposure and abrupt environmental variations.
