By using spatial diversity and multiplexing benefits to improve data speeds, dependability, and spectrum efficiency, Multiple Input Multiple Output technology has completely changed wireless communication networks. The research evaluates the performance of many popular MIMO schemes, such as Equal Gain Combining (EGC), Selection Diversity, and Maximum Ratio Combining (MRC), in terms of Bit Error Rate (BER) and Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR), under Rayleigh Fading Channel and Rician Fading Channel . The study analyses and simulates each approach to identify its advantages and disadvantages, providing insight into whether or not it can be used in real-world wireless networks.
