Title

Review On Herbal Antiseptic Bath Bomb

Abstract

Bath bombs are an innovative product combining the therapeutic properties of aromatherapy with skincare benefits. These effervescent bath products are formulated using natural ingredients, such as citric acid, baking soda, corn starch, and essential oils, including lavender and coconut oil. Lavender oil, known for its calming and anti-inflammatory properties, enhances the bathing experience by promoting relaxation, improving sleep quality, soothing irritated skin, and relieving muscle tension. The preparation involves blending primary and secondary ingredients, molding the formulation, and evaluating it through various parameters such as pH, effervescence time, and stability. This study focuses on the formulation and evaluation of bath bombs to ensure their safety, efficacy, and sensory appeal. Testing methods include physical appearance assessment, pH measurement, skin patch tests, and stability evaluations under different environmental conditions. Results confirm that the addition of lavender oil not only imparts a pleasant aroma but also contributes to stress relief and skin benefits, making it a valuable addition to personal care routines. The study highlights the potential for bath bombs to bridge the gap between skincare and relaxation, offering a holistic approach to self-care. Future research may explore variations in ingredient composition and their impact on therapeutic outcomes, optimizing the product for diverse consumer needs.
