Title

Satire as a theme in Charles Dickens’s Novels “A Tale of Two Cities” and “Oliver Twist”

Abstract

In the modern society still now, the world is eagerly waiting for the liberty and equality for the people, particularly poor class people. Most of the people get suffer and they couldn’t get the proper food and rights because of the ruling government. They are not having enough money to buy things for food they basically depend only on the privileges from the government. Lot of struggle the people felt and very bad situation exists in the world. In the Victorian era Charles Dickens satirize about the real struggle of poor people through the way of his novels A Tale of Two Cities and Oliver Twist it clearly explains the predominance of the government, especially industrialization which completely rule the city. In most of his novel talks about various themes like poverty, class discrimination, and social injustice etc.
