Title

Early Intervention for Children with disabilities: Current knowledge & future perspectives in India

Abstract

Early Intervention (EI) is critical for children with disabilities as it lays the foundation for lifelong learning, independence, and well-being. In India, EI has become a growing area of focus in recent years, but there remain significant challenges to its widespread implementation. This paper explores the current state of knowledge regarding early intervention in India, examining the existing frameworks, policies, and programs. It also discusse future directions for improving the reach and efficacy of EI services, with particular emphasis on inclusivity, accessibility, and community-based models.
