The Romantic movement of the late 18th and early 19th centuries brought a profound shift in the way poets perceived and represented nature. This article explores the multifaceted relationship between nature and Romantic poetry, focusing on how nature was used as a source of inspiration, emotion, and reflection. The study delves into the works of key Romantic poets such as William Wordsworth, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, and Percy Bysshe Shelley, examining their portrayal of nature as a mirror of human experience, a sanctuary for the soul, and a symbol of divine beauty. Through a close reading of selected poems, this article aims to shed light on the enduring impact of nature in shaping Romantic poetry's themes, imagery, and emotions.
