The purpose of the study was to investigate the attitude of parents towards women sports participation. For thus study 1500 one thousand parents of students studying in government and private recognized high and higher secondary schools of Northern part of kashmir were selected randomly as subjects. Eddingtons attitude scale towards physical education 1968 with 66 statements on 6 point scale questionnaire was used as a tool to measure the attitude of students towards women sports participation. The 66 statements are grouped under the eleven different aspects of physical education. The data was analyzed using percentile technique.
