The recent and fast improvements in communication networks and digital technologies have facilitated the easy transmission and storage of multimedia information on various network platforms. However, in today’s research, issues relating to the safety concerned with the large amount of information have emerged as a crucial topic due to the internet openings. The proposed work encrypts the images and stores them in the cloud storage to overcome the data attack. In this work, a hybrid image encryption algorithm is proposed based on the combination of the chaos sequence and the block based Feistel cipher. In this method, the encryption key is generated by Logistic and Tent map chaos sequence. Then, the original image is encrypted using the Feistel cipher using the round keys produced by the chaos system. The results obtained by the system are encouraging.
