Food fortification encompasses the enrichment of foods with necessary vitamins and minerals by delivering crucial nutrients through mainstream dietary items. To comprehensively address this issue, research was conducted among youth in Lucknow city. The methodology employed a quantitative approach, utilizing a cross-sectional survey among university students. Convenience sampling was employed as the sampling technique. The study revealed that 83% of participants exhibit familiarity with the concept of food fortification. Fortified milk emerged as the most recognized fortified food, while fortified wheat registered the lowest recognition among the studied population.
