This study examined the in vivo cytotoxicity of ethanolic leaf extracts of Athyrium hohenackerianum through the Brine Shrimp Lethality Assay and explored its connection to known pharmacological properties. The assay evaluated the toxic effect of the extract on brine shrimp (Artemia salina) nauplii, with LC50 value determined after 24 hours of exposure. The findings revealed significant cytotoxicity, with LC50 value 776.807µg/mL, indicating the presence of biologically active compounds.These results underscore the pharmacological potential and traditional medicinal significance of A.hohenackerianum.
