ABSTRACT Bharat is referred to be the cradle of human civilization. Bharat emerges as “Vishwaguru” because it has a very magnificent past, where we believe in “Om Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah” and “Vasudhaive Kutumbakam.” Bharat is a teacher or knowledge giver of world due to its Ancient Knowledge System. This system comprises of Knowledge (Janna), Science (Vigyana) and Philosophy of life (Jeevan Darshan), which have evolved out of experience, observation, experimentations. In 1700 century due to its riches in world trade, Bharat earned brand name ‘Golden Sparrow’. There are diverse factors such as - India’s ancient knowledge system, economic power, demographic dividends, infrastructure, defence diplomacy, soft diplomacy and technology etc, have enhanced its prospective as VISHWAGURU. Bharat due to its inclusive visualization and strategic policies has catalog in the fastest growth nations and increasing the errands in the global economy. Therefore it is logical to conjecture that Bharat is emerging as a Vishwaguru in the 21th century.
