Turning something close to your heart into something that makes you money may not be as difficult. The rise of home-based businesses, or "homepreneurs," has transformed the entrepreneurial landscape in Bhopal. Driven by factors such as digitalization, flexible work culture, and government support, homepreneurs contribute significantly to the local economy. However, they face several challenges, including financial constraints, limited market reach, and societal biases. This paper examines the growth of homepreneurs in Bhopal, explores their struggles, and outlines future opportunities. The study is based on secondary research and a small-scale survey of home-based entrepreneurs. The paper also discusses relevant government schemes supporting homepreneurs in India.
