Study on birds diversity in the Armori tehsil ,was done over a period of six months from September 2021 to February 2022.A total number of 45 bird species belonging to 23 families were recorded during the study covering an area of three lakes viz,Ramsagar lakes 15.123 acres, Ashta lakes 23.47 Acres,Arsoda lakes 19.148 acres. The study was divided at three different sites these different sites are: Ramsagar lake, Ashta lake,Arsoda lake of the 45 birds species observed,04 species 04 were migratory namely Yellow footed green pigeon, Rosy starling, Robin ancestor ,Ashy drongo etc .The three sites has wide varieties of trees .The common birds species were Jungle babbler ,Common myna ,spotted dove, blue rock pigeon, House crow,Black drongo etc. The lakes has wide varieties of trees ,which may be one of the major contributing factor for the richness of birds species .
