Title

Fabrication and Characterization of surface-modified nanocrystalline CdSnO3 Thick film for gas sensor

Abstract

Thick films of surface-modified CdSnO3 were fabricated using the dipping technique, and then fired. The materials were identified using X-ray diffraction (XRD) after synthesis. The elemental analysis and surface morphology of surface-modified nanocrystalline CdSnO3 were studied using FESEM and EDAX. At an operating temperature of 200oC, the surface-modified CdSnO3 showed an intense response to nitrogen dioxide gas at 100 ppm. Response of MgO modified CdSnO3 to NO2 gas at 200oC operating temperature for 5 minutes at a high response. This paper investigated surface MgO modified CdSnO3 (5 min) based thick films have response towards NO2 gas.
