Sandhana Kalpana stands out for its unique fermentation process, which naturally generates ethyl alcohol and other organic compounds without external addition. This process enhances the extraction of active herbal constituents, leading to formulations with longer shelf life, improved bioavailability, and superior therapeutic efficacy. Takrarishta a well-known Arishta preparation is mentioned in different classical texts of Ayurveda. Two types of Takrarishta is mentioned one is in Granhini rogadhikara and other in Arsha rogadhikara of Charak chikitsa sthan. The basic difference between the two is in their ingredients. Quality assessment of the Takrarishta mentioned in grahini rogadhikara was done before. So, in this study Quality assessment on the basis of physio chemical properties & phytochemicals and Safety assessment on the basis of heavy metals, pesticide residue and microbial contamination of Takrarishta mentioned in Arsh rogadhikara of Charak chikitsa sathan was done. Its stability was observed in different seasons. Fingerprinting of Takrarishta by HPTLC was also done. The present work will contribute to the assessment of the Pharmaceutical & Analytical Parameters of Takrarishta.
