Tourism to remote destinations has increased significantly, raising concerns about traveler safety due to limited medical facilities, unreliable communication, and challenging navigation. This paper presents a Smart Health Monitoring System for Tourists in Remote Areas, designed to enhance tourist security by integrating GPS, LoRa WAN technology, and cloud computing. The system provides real-time location tracking, geo-fencing alerts, and automated emergency notifications, ensuring timely response to critical situations. A smartphone-based approach eliminates the need for additional hardware, utilizing ESP32 microcontrollers for efficient communication and Firebase for seamless data synchronization. The system is built on Android Studio, Google Maps API, and Firebase, ensuring scalability, security, and ease of use. Future advancements will explore AI-driven predictive analytics and improved communication protocols, further enhancing the reliability of real-time health monitoring in remote environments.
