Solar charge controllers are devices that regular the charging of batteries from solar cells and control the flow of current to both batteries and loads. To these problems, a proposed method is to use a Photovoltaic [PV] input-based grid-controller output for quality improvement. A prototype MPPT charge controller was tested with a PV panel and battery management, and an experimental setup was successfully implemented to reduce the harmonics level and display the proper output voltage.
