Title

Structural Determination of Some Complexes of Divalent Transition Metals with Tridentate schiff base

Abstract

The complexes of Divalent Iron Cations have been prepared with Schiff base ligand 5- chloro Salicylalidine- 0- hydroxy phenyl hydrazone in presence of bases having nitrogen and oxygen atoms as donor sites. On characterisation of ligand and the complexes by usual physico-chemical methods such as elemental analysis, measurement of magnetic moment , electrical conductance , electronic transition and I.R. spectra, all the complexes have been found to be mono-meric, nonelectrolyte, paramagnetic and octahedral in geometry.
