Title

Teaching Aptitude of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. Student Teachers in Mizoram

Abstract

The objectives of the present study are to find out and compare the teaching aptitude B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. student teachers in Mizoram. To achieve this, the investigator employed the teaching aptitude scale developed by S.C. Gakhar and Rajnish (2004) which was administered to a sample of 523 student teachers from across various selected districts in Mizoram. It was found that majority of student teachers possess moderate level of teaching aptitude. Findings also showed that B.Ed. students have higher teaching aptitude as compared to D.El.Ed. student teachers.
