Review of literature is an important aspect of Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) thesis writing and Research Paper and Research Article writing. Review of literature identifies the research gap in the area of research, one has selected. It justifies the topic of research. It throws light on the past studies, undertaken in the area of research topic, one has selected for the study. Research has to be something new/novel/innovative, adding to the existing knowledge and it should contribute for the welfare and development of the society/community.
