Title

THE IMPACT OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ON MODERN AGRICULTURE

Abstract

Any nation's ability to grow economically depends heavily on its agricultural sector. Recently, farming has made substantial use of artificial intelligence (AI). In order to improve other food supply chain management tasks, monitor soil and growth conditions, control pests, grow healthier crops, and analyze data for farmers, the agriculture industry have turning to AI technology. The industry faces many obstacles to optimize its yield, including as poor soil management, disease and pest infestation, the need for big data, low productivity, and a lack of understanding between farmers and technology. The key ideas behind AI in agriculture are its cost-effectiveness, precision, flexibility, and high performance. AI will boost the nation's economy overall and increase farmer profitability. Three main areas of artificial intelligence (AI) are growing in agriculture: agricultural robotics, predictive analytics, and soil and crop monitoring. Machine learning (ML) has been used more and more recently to develop decision-support software for modern agricultural systems, such fertilizer management, with the aim of increasing yields while reducing costs and having a less detrimental effect on the environment. An overview of AI's uses in managing soil, crops, weeds, and diseases is provided in this study.

Key Words

Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), Deep Learning (DL), smart framing, soil and crop monitoring, irrigation Control, crop managements and Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN).
