Abstract Medical biotechnology is advancing at an unprecedented pace, revolutionizing the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases. Key innovations such as CRISPR-based gene editing, mRNA vaccines, artificial blood, 3D bioprinting, organoids, and wearable biosensors are transforming modern healthcare. CRISPR technology enables precise genetic modifications, offering hope for curing genetic disorders, while mRNA vaccines have demonstrated their potential beyond COVID-19, including in cancer treatment. Artificial blood aims to address transfusion shortages, and 3D bioprinting holds promise for organ transplantation and drug testing. Meanwhile, organoids provide accurate disease models, and wearable biosensors facilitate real-time health monitoring. These breakthroughs not only enhance medical capabilities but also raise ethical, regulatory, and societal challenges, such as genetic ethics, public trust in artificial blood, and data privacy in wearable health devices. As these technologies evolve, they hold immense potential to extend lifespans, improve healthcare outcomes, and reshape the medical landscape. The future of medicine is no longer a distant vision but an imminent reality, with continuous advancements driving the next wave of healthcare transformation.
