This research paper examines the cultural and religious significance of Jain shrines, rituals, and symbols, focusing specifically on the Netteri Hill Jain shrine in Veppur, Vellore District, Tamilnadu. Through an Archaeological Investigation and site analysis, this study presents the findings of the excavation at Netteri Hill, revealing the remnants of an ancient Jain settlement. The site features eight intricately carved Jain beds, a footprint, and a water drainage system, dating back to a bygone era. The research highlights the historical and cultural significance of the site, underscoring the importance of preserving Jain heritage. The study recommends the site's designation as a national monument and its development into a tourist destination, ensuring the long-term conservation of this invaluable cultural treasure.
