The notion of women employed in a traditional Indian job has consistently posed challenges. Policing is a rigorous and high-pressure career, particularly for female officers who traverse the intricate landscape of law enforcement. The difficulty of achieving equilibrium between work and familial responsibilities is a persistent concern. Work-life balance refers to an individual's ability to meet their professional and familial responsibilities, along with other non-work commitments and activities. This study seeks to examine the issues faced by women police officers in balancing their personal and professional lives. It also offers insights into the elements influencing the work-life balance of female police officers and the techniques they employ to maintain this equilibrium. This study’s findings underscore the necessity for proactive strategies to improve work-life balance and the general well-being of female police officers, focusing on the unique problems they encounter.
