Girders are essential structural elements in road construction, playing a crucial role in supporting and distributing loads, particularly in bridges, overpasses, and other elevated roadway structures. This paper explores the different types of girders, including concrete, steel, and composite girders, focusing on their design, material properties, and applications in road infrastructure projects. The study highlights the versatility of girders in various road construction scenarios, emphasizing their importance in enhancing safety, durability, and efficiency.
