Passiflora edulis, also known as Passion fruit. Numerous nutrients and useful components can be found in passion fruit. These fruits have multiple pharmacological properties. The therapeutic characteristics of this plant make it suitable for use as a home remedy. Passiflora edulis belongs to the Passifloraceae family. Passion fruits are marketed as multiple goods. Passion fruits and whole plant are quite beneficial. It possesses pharmacological properties such as antidiabetic, anxiolytic, anti-tumor, antioxidant, analgesic, and anti-inflammatory. The plant has a variety of useful chemical constituents, including volatile oil, flavonoids, lipids, triterpenoids, aldehydes, ketones, tridecanone, palmitic acid, stearic acid, linoleic acid, quercetin, apigenin, and vitexin. This compound has several pharmaceutical applications. This review aims to provide accurate information on plant physiochemical properties, nutritional values, pharmacological and biological activities, marketing possibilities, and herbal preparation of leaves, fruit and peels of P. Edulis. This mini-review aims to provide systematically Reorganized information on pharmacological and medicinal importance of P. Edulis.
