The present study was conducted to assess the fear and anxiety who undergoing diagnostic method among women with gynecological problem at smvmch, puducherry. The period of data collection was 1 week, and the data were collected from the 30 female patients who is under the gynaecological investigation in SMVNCH. The purposive sampling technique was used for this study. The findings shows frequency and percentage wise distribution of level of fear who undergoing diagnostic method among women with gynecological problem. Majority of the women 16(53.3%) had Severe level of fear, and 14(46.7%) had moderate level of fear. The mean and standard deviation of level of fear that undergoing diagnostic method among women with gynecological problem is (63.03+8.512) respectively association with know about *-p < 0.05 significant, *-p < 0.001highly significant, NS-Non significant others are belongs to non-significance.
