Title

VIRTUAL MOUSE HAND GESTURE USING PYTHON

Abstract

- In this paper, a hand gesture recognition-based virtual mouse system is designed and implemented. This system offers a touchless engagement mechanism that improves user accessibility and convenience by utilizing computer vision techniques and machine learning algorithms. The suggested system uses a webcam to record hand motions in real time, which are then processed to simulate mouse actions including clicking, scrolling, and moving. By doing away with physical input devices, this method provides a hygienic and effective substitute. Using performance-optimized lightweight algorithms, the system's design combines real-time image acquisition, hand detection, and gesture identification. Its resilience was proven by extensive testing in a variety of scenarios, with an average recognition accuracy of 92% and a latency of 80 ms. This innovation's uses include touchless technology, gaming, and assistive technologies. public interfaces, highlighting its adaptability and potential to change the way people interact with computers. In order to improve capabilities, future research will address existing constraints and investigate sophisticated gesture tracking.
