Title

An opinionaire of Part-Time Vocational Teachers (PTVTs) of DoE, Delhi on DIETs Vocational Training Programs

Abstract

To build the nation's economy, vocational education must prepare for the demands of a global workforce. Vocational teachers must comprehend the purpose of vocational education to function effectively, as the caliber of their instruction influences the caliber of skills that students acquire. Additionally, Part-Time Vocational Teachers (PTVTs) go on a journey of continual professional and skill improvement, in addition to dedicating themselves to fostering the gifts and capacities of their pupils. NEP 2020 heavily highlights how vocational education and training can significantly impact people's lives by empowering them, accelerating economic growth, and encouraging social inclusion. In the future, vocational education may be easily incorporated into the educational system, allowing students to flourish academically and in the workplace. This framework evaluates the intellectual and physical quality of vocational training programs provided by Delhi's SCERT and District Institutes of Education and Training (DIETs) of the Department of Education (DoE) of Delhi's Part-Time Vocational Teachers (PTVTs). Part-time vocational teachers, or PTVTs, are essential in helping people develop their employability skills and get ready for a variety of professional paths. Information gathered from PTVTs provides valuable feedback on the efficacy, obstacles, and potential improvements of DIETs' vocational training initiatives for their further qualitative training programs. The purpose of this study is to identify areas for enhancement and inform strategic reforms to elevate the quality and relevance of vocational training programs in Delhi.
