Crowdfunding has emerged as a significant alternative financing model, enabling individuals and organizations to raise funds through collective contributions. This study explores the awareness and adoption of crowdfunding among ex-servicemen in Coimbatore City. Ex-servicemen often face financial challenges while transitioning to civilian life, including starting businesses, pursuing education, or managing medical expenses. Crowdfunding platforms can serve as a viable financial support system, yet their awareness and utilization remain uncertain. This research aims to assess the level of awareness, perception, and willingness of ex-servicemen to engage with crowdfunding platforms. Data will be collected through surveys and interviews with ex-servicemen residing in Coimbatore. The study will also analyze the factors influencing their participation in crowdfunding, such as trust, digital literacy, and financial necessity. Findings from this study will provide insights into the potential of crowdfunding as a financial aid tool for ex-servicemen and highlight the need for awareness programs to enhance their understanding of this funding mechanism. The study's outcomes may help policymakers and organizations develop strategies to promote crowdfunding among ex-servicemen, ensuring better financial inclusion and support.
