Development of rural tourism or ecotourism is initiated by local people involvement, inception of the concept of social entrepreneurship and awareness programmes based on preservation of cultural values and traditions. These traits are required to be possessed by an entrepreneur for entering the ecotourism sector. The research question that was developed in the study was that whether economic, social and psychological factors play a crucial role in the successful implementation of entrepreneurial ideas or not. The objective of this research paper was to evaluate the impacts of economic, social and psychological factors on ecotourism entrepreneurial development in India. Primary data had been collected from 10 remotest ecotourism destinations of the country. Exploratory Factor Analysis and PLS-SEM had been used to analyse the data. The results had suggested that there existed a direct positive relationship between the economic, social, psychological factors and ecotourism entrepreneurial development in India.
